Discipleship and Leadership Training Camp or DLT is a prerequisite for all teens who wish to serve as staff at Southwest Bible Camp. DLT is designed for teens in high school who desire to be disciples of the Lord Jesus and are trained in leadership and serving skills. The goal is to help participants become more effective in ministry as a camp counselor and/or other staff duties at SWBC, and also in home situations! Participants will be accepted to DLT via an application process. There also may be required an interview, either by phone or in person, for applicants to the program. With Bible study, group study, work projects, outreach and team training, DLT will be better equipped and have opportunity to serve in the subsequent weeks of Junior and Intermediate camps.
